"I recently had a claim on a car accident where my car was a total loss (rear-ended by someone).  The car rental was only for seven days, and I needed to look for a car replacement immediately. Fortunately, I found one and had an appointment at the car dealer on a Friday night. I communicated this to Paul Lacroix. I had to surrender the title and keys of my wrecked car to immediately take action in the processing and transferring of the claim funds. The summer hours of Gary Winkler’s office were closed on Saturdays. However, Paul offered to come in on a Saturday to complete the surrender of my old car’s documents and reassured me that he was there to provide relief in my difficult situation. That was extremely generous of him to give up his time off to care for an eager customer. He was there on time and was willing to drive to UPS to mail out all the documents. In addition, he made a few phone calls to follow up with the Claims department and inquired when the issuance and delivery of my claims check to pay the dealer of my new car.  Unfortunately, he was unable to reach the claims specialist handling my case.  But his efforts were highly commendable. I am so grateful to have Paul assist me in my troubles. Gary Winkler’s staff are the best to work with. Not only when buying their products but also when reporting a claim, and customers needed the utmost support and empathy of the customer service representatives. Paul was very courteous and displayed a willingness to help me better understand the reasons and rationale behind the increase in our premiums. He reviewed our policy with me in real-time to help identify what was contributing to the price increase. He was thorough with his research, explaining each external trend that was contributing to the increase. He was patient and did not mind answering more questions as we peeled back the layers of societal factors e.g. thefts, supply chain, acts of nature which are all considered in the pricing increase.
